He has over 20 years of professional experience, primarily in the area of basic sanitation. He has worked in 10 countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. With an outstanding record of sustainable development projects and processes of social research, Mr Sonntag is an ideal consultant.

Needs Assessment

A LWB team of 9 Senior and Junior experts successfully completed a participatory and data driven Needs Assessment covering 5 regions of Togo for the KfW funded Fund for Regional Stabilisation and Development as a sub contractor to GFA.

National Water and Sanitation Day

In our project in Entre Rios, training workshops on the rational use of water and hand washing are completed, as well as preparing activities for the National Water and Sanitation Day.

San Cristobal Mining Inc

At the end of July, 2022, multidisciplinary team of experts from LWB successfully completed a rigorous environmental, social and governance Due Diligence of “San Cristobal Mining Inc.”, Potosi, covering water resource and river basin management, governance, environmental impact and social analysis, looking at economic and social links with the surrounding population.

Progress is being made in the change management strategy  for the Misicuni company. The strategy and procedure manuals for carrying out the procedure were delivered.

Works start on MISICUNI

LWB, again with their partner ANTEA, began the project financed by AFD, to accompany the
Misicuni Company in strengthening its supply and distribution model of water and support the
company in its operational transformation.

LWB is supporting GFA as a subcontractor to provide the services of consultants for ESMF, gender assessments, desk reviews and other key consultancy services in the countries prioritized for this KfW-funded stabilization intervention in West Africa.

Demand for Capacity Development in the Potable Water and Sanitation sector.

The PERIAGUA Program, in coordination with the VAPSB and with the support of ANESAPA and FEDECAAS, held 3 Technical Tables to meet the demand for capacity development in the Potable Water and Sanitation sector. The events provided important information that will allow planning the future actions of Component 3 of this Program: Education, Training and Certification of Competences.
